The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge in San Fransico. Joseph B. Stass was the conductor of ths bridge. The length of the bridge is 9266 feet (2824 meters). The Golden Gate bridge has six lanes, and is pained red but is called "Golden" because of the sun. The Golden Gate Bridge has a span of 4,200 feet. Strass (the creater of the Golden Gate Bridge) died a year before finishing the bridge.

the SO CALLED "CONDUCTOR" WHICH IS THE WRONG WORD FOR A engineer,the guy who engineered it was charles Ellis.But i do agree it is a suspension bridge but the bridge really has a span of 2,737 meters of road.
