Mekka:
I as one of your peers am glad to hear that technolgy has helped improve the things you have done. You also realize the things you could have done better, which shows the bigger better person in you.
Great JOB ! It's good to see technology has helped you. I beleive it can help you a little more though.

Jameer:
Good job explaining nuclear career support and how it benefits us as living organisms.
Micheal:
You have realized alot, alot that makes sense . I really became engaged with your writing when you first said "
I have learned that engineering is not science. Engineering is creating the artifiicial."

Cycle 2 Week 4
The title of my video is Hoked on Science. The video was about turtles and aligatera and the different kinds of turtles and the features of a aligater. Like how dangerous both aligaters and some turtles can be. I learned that turtles can be dangerous and just because you can pick up a helpless little cat and take it to safety, doesn't mean you can do the same thing for a snapping turtle.

WOW ! What a game, kind of violent dont u think. But it was a good choice in being different from every one else. Good Job !
Alexis:
I Love the concept of your game and how it would put you and your peers in some serious competiton. This game may actually be a good idea to play in school. (you should talk to a teacher ! )

Cycle 2 Week 9 Comments
Abbas: you gave very good detail and was very exact about what is happening to a parachute during its process of falling (oh yea and i was going to use the same diagram of the tedy bear falling).
Sawsan: That was a good way of coming to a compromise and in the end everything turned out good . . . GREAT TEAM WORK !

Cycle 2 Week 9

The goal for the parachute lab was to see how much air resistance the chute would get depending n the weight of each paradhute. My partner and I plan to make a parachute thats as light as possible. The more stuff we add n to our chute the heavier it will be. The amount of air resistance a parachute has helps it.

Cycle 2 Week 8
Using technology has helped me as a student by enabling me to think outside of the box. While using technology I had to think in many was that i'm not used to thinking, so by doing that, this has made me a better student. Ifeel as thoughI did well so far this year on blogging/technology. To be honest I do feel I feel off at one point and time, but I got myself together and stepped up and got back on track. I could have just kept doing what I was suposed to do and avoid falling off. In the future I would like to do many more blogs with videos that can be watched, ones giving different examples of technology.

The Golden Gate bridge has six lanes, and is pained red but is called "Golden" because of the sun. The Golden Gate Bridge has a span of 4,200 feet. Strass (the creater of the Golden Gate Bridge) died a year before finishing the bridge.

Cycle 2 Week 6
Engineering has influenced the world by enabling we as humans to be able to create many different things naturaly. Like solar panels on the roof of some american houses. Engineering s not only good for things like cars or go carts, they are also eco-friendly. The engineering that i learned about, I would use to my ggreates advantage. As I grow older in life I would buy a house with solar powered energy. "It would be kind of cool having a house that doesn't power from electric or the gas company!"

Cycle 2 Week 5- my blogging
The technology we used in science has influenced me to do and try many new things in science such as new experiments, testin unusual subsistances that I come across. Blogging has and has not improved my writting because I am aware of the correct way to type and the corect way to type. I am a very successful witter, but when i'm on the computer I tend to write as if i'm texting. Blogging helped me on the NJASK by learning different ways to express my opinions and creativity, then when the NJASK came up I was able to express my opinion or answer in a different way (diagrams, word form, and picture form). The technology has connected me to others by phone but most importantly by internet.

Cycle 2 - week 2
If there ever was a opertunity for me to create a game I would create " Mega Tronics." A game where you could design and customize your own electronics. First you would have to type in the name of your invention/creation. Then you would have to pick up to 5 parts and peices to use for your project (different assentials to help you complete your task). Next, you'd have 5 minutes to complete your task. If you are successful and finish putting your invention together in the alloted time then, try and play someone else and try to see if they will beat your timing or take alittle longer.

Cycle 2-week 1
The first game I am playing is called Fast and Furious on cartoonnetwork (http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/games/ppg/fastandflurrious/index.html). This is a game that requires a great deal of hand eye coordination. It is a game with the Power Puff Girls Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup they all have to compete in a series of ski slopes of your choice. Through the game you have to collect a certain amount of shapes to move on to the next level. Every time you collect a shape points add up, but if u fall you'll loss points. So the game is kind of confusing because you'll never know by how many points the gathering of the shapes will add up to.
The second game I am playing is called Diner Dash, this game also requires hand eye coordination (and alot of it). The more customers you serve the more points you'll get. But the harder it gets is when more and more people come to line up. If they are not happy and pleased then they leave and thats your money that's gone. This game is educational because it teaches a way of life, like in Foundations of Citizenship we learn way's of life, and that's the same for the game.

Week5_Prompt#3
The periodic table is made up of elements. These elements are classified as metals, non-metals, and metalloids. The non- metals can be found on the right side of the periodic table. Metals are found on the left side of the periodic table and the metalloids are found right in between them. The only other non-metal that you may find on the left side of the periodic table is hydrgen (http://www.accessscience.com/images/periodic_table.gif) a link to show the placement of the metals, non-metals, and metalloids.

Week4-Race-Car
The Design Squad faced some problems in their race car problem. They were assigned a tricycle and a wagon. They had to form a race car out of the two things.During the challenge they benefited from each other alot. They helped each other and kept each other in mind when they were creating the parts. They had advantages in using the materials that came with the items given. Like the bolts and screws.
I would approach the problem by awaring my teamates of that problems. Then I would look up any thing that can help me to solve or solve my problem. From watching this episode I learned that having a constant variable can be a good and bad thing. They can either benefit you or make u fall in completing your task. Sll because you cant get ride of them and you must use them.

Week3_Prompt#2
Noble gases in group 18 don't form chemical bonds because their outter shells are filled, there for they are stable. These noble gases have very little tendency to loose or gain electrons. Like when two elements that are on the periodic table form to create a element that is not on the periodic table. For example, when C and O share electrons then creates CO2. Carbon only has four electrons on its outter shell, which makes it un stable. Oxygen has six electrons on its outter shell, which makes it stable and has less of a tendency to loss or gain electrons.

Week1_Prompt#2
LIquids, solids, and gases all react or affect differently when placed in a new container. When a liquid is transfored into another container it all seems to transfer smoothly. But when it hits the surface of the liquid may slash upward because of the surface of the container. A gas may be the hardest thing to transfer because gas partices are very active and gas has no definite shape of volume.
Week1_prompt#2
The change that happened to the Statue of Liberty is a chemical change. But because it was outside and due to the chemicals in the wind and the copper mixed together then formed a chemical change. This website (http://www.howtallisthestatueofliberty.org/why-is-the-statue-of-liberty-green/) explains how because of the Statue of Liberty being copper how it was going to react either way due to its element. So no matter if there was no wind the Statue of Liberty would have reacted any way because of how copper turns a blueish-greenish color due to age.

Technology in science
To me science is everything. Science is the way you walk, the way you talk, and the way the world goes around. Science is the study of earth and all of its studies. Even though many things in the world may not seem like science is a big part of it, well it is, because without atoms, nuetrons, and electrons there would be no periodic table, no elements. So without elements the world would be clueless about mass and volume. There for without science the world would not be a complete and in order place.
